Yes, add the water animations! I learned that water animations are fucking cool when used right, all thanks to GLB and Diss. <3

very slow progress just downloaded Squirlz today to give it a try i like how the rain puddles looks.

But gona pause anything about stages for now cuz lack of interest besides i wanna get back to make sprites again so post progress later next mont or just gona send the stages later if any good progress.

Okay so before anything this stage must be out of my list.



-Colored the Corridor from gray to Orange.
-Tiled the Corridor and increased the image height so now is 1675×825 size.
-Added glow around the Pillars.
-Added shadows on the floor.
-the floor is a separeted layer now and sharper it a bit.

Okay so i was thinking to add those ducks from guilty gear flying around and probably some flags or something over the windows cuz i want it to look like a mediaval Castle corridor also thinking on adding a Knight Armor standing in the middle if i can find a good one.

Just gona wait until Gen finish of renderin the Mountains and get rid of the sky so meanwhile ill be wrking on make the corridor looks good graphicaly.

I like it. It reminds me of an old stage diss and I did lol, we used a similiar floor.

IMO though, the glow is a bit too heavy, you should tone it down. There's not enough sunlight coming in for it to be that intense.

It would make more sense for the glow to be animated on the wall with a torch.

hooray Update:


Thanks to GLB and Mark gived me so many ideas and suguestions today i went a bit hyped XD okay

What was done:
-Changed the floor tile.
-Added some cracks and the walls
-added some trees.
-the mountains are now rendered.
-Decreased the opacity of the glow.


thinsg to do atm:
-Still missing the torchs which gona adit later and add them.
-Add some sun light to those trees using Jeans tuto.
-Word on the sky and tile it remove the sun and make it into 2 layers or 3 if i can separate the clouds.
-Gona add some decoration to the windows area like tiles with designs.
-Maybe add a portrait in the middle of the stage.
-Clean the pillars edges cuz mainly the spikes cuz they arent pointy as they should.

So far iam liking how this one is looking but still lot of things left to do.

im not fond of the cracks since they dont look real at all (transparent)

See, Excahm? I told you to set the cracks to Multiply. Also, make the Texture layer cover the WHOLE wall, not just spots.

yeah actually Multiply didnt work i just get a shadow tile and thats all.

Odd, multiply always works on my end. Maybe you could try darkening the crack layer? Right now, I think it looks too bright and stands out in a bad way.

A fire of 59 frames gona be used.

For the crarcks multypli did work but need textures with less details mainly just the lines:

Okey just a small sugestion by Genensis:


Increase the pillars height so the BG env can have a better view and changed the floor tile for another and doesnt have mirrowing btw.

Should i continue as this?

I agree that's a good idea but it looks incomplete as it is, I hope they will still connect or have a way to make them blend without being noticeable cut jobs.

SLighty progress have n=been busy doing other stuff but oh well:

-Kinda done with the pillars and did some cleaning on the edges.

-Resized the sun glare a bid.

-Well got this random idea of adding some kind of dragon patern or design in the middle of the wall iam wide open on what to add there actually.

I may be able to finish the PSD tomorrow to start working on the SFF nut need to fix some details.
