That sun is weird as shit. You can use the glares I had in that stage I made recently if you want.

Well busy week was busy :P

As i said i was going to remove the sun since didnt looked how i wanted and yeah i like the idea of the sun glares :D @Watta

welp i played a bit with the colors and added the cross with is shadows and got this.

Reduced the blue of the image.


Should this one works or i keep the original colors?

And again busy IRL but some progress.
So coded the stage to see how would look.


Added:
-Deltas.
-Overlay tint.
-Sun glare (Watta idea :P)
-Adeed asshole birds animation.
-Resized, saturated and sharper the image a bit the stage resolution is 784, 624 enogh wide for widescreen or a bit of zoom but still with some image quality.

Later:
-Remake the bridge more since looks small on the current resolution.
-Recolor the tree tops to a orange/green color maybe?

Welp thats what i have now.

I think you should raise the characters a bit. They're far too low on the screen IMO.

I think he did that because (judging from the shot) the middle log where they SHOULD be at breaks a little here and there. I guess he could try it anyways

Overlay seems a bit tad dark for a sunset stage. For the D coding, try something about 240 or 250.

Well not much to do now:


Has everything i said on the previous post.

Added:
-Deltas.

Genesis fixed and cleaned the floor and i made it a lil more bigger.
I gona code it and see how it looks so any sugestion?
Note that in game the stage uses a diferent localcoord so the chars atually looks bigger.

Also
Any sugestion for the BGM?
I want something sad but not waaaay too deep just a song that could make you start thinking sadly...

For the BGM, you could try Jojo's Bizarre Adventure OST Battle Tendency - Not Alone. It's a pretty sad and mellow track, and i'm sure you'll like it.

So having released the stage i got some feeback and sugestions so working on the Update.

So iam rendering the the background and removing the sky and probably gona have to use the Anti-Alias on it later...But things first any sugestion for the sky? and some resourses maybe too?

ok just posting some stuff.

The sky and the Cliff now are separated:




Thinks to do:
-Clean the cliff a bit and tile the Mountains...
-Need to edit more the Bridge and probably gona parallax the floor if i see that looks good enoght.
-Get a sunset sky with a sun but with no Clouds cuz iam adding ones with velocity.
