Maybe a transparent dark blue layered = 1?
To make the chars fit the BG colors.

That'd be an overlay, and no. I plan on having quite a bit of animations proceed the background, overlays tend to drop FPS harshly. I don't like them much unless I'm using it for a night fall purpose.

Thats how its called.

No wonder why my fire stage lagged soo much when Genesis tried out mostly i don´t have these kind of problems :Enjoyment:

Soo far seems that you already pointed what is needed and seems kinda hard to find out what else to add....
Maybe some ppl but that could work for an Aquarium stage.

Anyway,
A lil off topic...
Can i make a Wip thread to maybe get some ideas when i run of out them?

There's still quite a few things I must fix and still do, such as fix the edges on the fish/turtles and have them blend more, but here's more progress on the concept/idea anyway. Suggestions and feedback are appreciated.

I actually found the base image on konachan.

It was the same as it is now except there was a girl and her shadow on it. Dissidia and I removed her and the shadow and I slightly edited the floor and obviously replaced the background.

Lol I know you meant that stage I meant on what sprite bro. Considering the floor parallaxed seems unnecessary with how the perspective already is. The water will be animated and the fish will move.

my only hope is that it's not a box of a stage. it looks nice tho, i'm diggin' tha underwater critters in tha BG.

That's gonna be done with animations.

I plan to have an animated sunset/sunrise behind it all, birds, city and bridge lights, animated water, and maybe some layerno1 animated grass. I just need help and even a potential collabo partner with experience in programs creating animations like these.

im mad late on this
That looks sexy but the angle reminds me of Luminance City,i'd say flip it horizontally but then it screws up the lighting

Give some of the buildings poles and add small blinking lights to them (extremely easy to do)

With the right kind of light and maybe a flare,you can probably get away witha single colored(black) bird animation (I've seen Jean make some with PI,though hes been AWOL lately)

@Mark I dont have AE cuz im not on my normal laptop that can handle it,i'd animate this water...

Maybe you can even have the stage start dim,have clouds part out of the way revealing the sun,then brighten the glare on the buildings and add some sparkles to the water where the light hits? just an idea

Too annoyingly complicated but a good idea nonetheless, lol. Well, I guess complicated isn't the right word. Just time consuming. It could be done with ticks, just annoying.
