Hey guys,

I wanted to make a glowing animation for the light you see on the ground here on my stage. The problem is that I'm not one of those Photoshop or GIMP pros. Could you guys explain how I could make some glowing animations by editing these sprites?

Any ideas? is there like some filters for this or do I have to do it manually with the brush?

I knew this would come in handy someday.

the only bit I didn't get was the function of a layer mask

EDIT: Nevermind, I get it now. The layer mask makes the chosen bits transparent
