I will attempt to update you folks on a regular schedule (most likely monthly/bi-monthly) on CKOFM news. I will only focus on important information, such as WIP characters, releases, and potential news that you may need to know. Let's get down to releases, shall we?
【Releases】
- October 24th saw a massive string of releases, including all of the Blood clones, Exile Haiaosi/Eater of Souls, and a brand new character named Elke.
- There will be more releases in the near future, most notable ones are:
- Kurit Blood, a brand new member of the Blood family and is a Chris edit.
- Aprille, a Kula edit with the power of the void, sister of Adawn
- Zevioga, the reincarnation of Igniz in a Kyo Clone's body.
【Work In Progress】
- All of the characters mentioned above are being worked on by their respective authors, please be patient. All CKOFM character will be public.
- Axis, the "shadow" of Clone Kyo Blood, is being fully remade by the author, Recetti. Current release date and progress are unknown.
- Athena Asamiya (Nurse) is also being made as a CKOFM character by the incredibly talented Phoenix. Phoenix, however, is extremely busy and is currently considered to be on a hiatus, so the character is on hiatus as well.
- Hell is currently working on a brand new member of the CKOFM storyline named "Cadio", a powerful creature whose intentions do not seem to be good.
【News & Updates】
Unfortunately, this section won't see much use outside of negative information or miscellaneous facts, and this time it is not the latter.
Those who have been following the CKOFM community may know of the recent incident involving an author's imitation of two CKOFM characters: Axis and Galese. The author of these imitations had sold the characters at a high price point and, along with the buyers, made offensive remarks towards the original authors (Recetti for Axis, APPS for Galese). As a result, Recetti and APPS had decided to make a few tough decisions:
- Axis was originally going to be released around July or August of this year. That release was cancelled.
- Axis is currently being entirely remade to separate it from the imitation.
- Due to Ember Eputh's sprites being made by Recetti, Ember Eputh's sprites are no longer available for use.
An unfortunate situation all around, but please respect the decisions made by these authors and uphold the rules they have put in place. In the meantime, please look forward to more updates and potential releases from the CKOFM team!
