Beterhans is a veteran Chinese Mugen stage & character creator. He is best known for his "Good ghost" Akuma and "Good ghost Chun Li" characters which were some of the first ever characters to be coded in the mugen 1.0 format upon its release, and again the same with mugen 1.1. He has been active in the mugen scene since atleast 2008 but likely longer.
A rather underrated creator, Beterhans has also made several stages and edits of existing stages all for widescreen 16:9 ratio. He has also proven to have good knowledge of advanced parallax within mugen stages on both floors and vertical surfaces.
Also noteworthy is his advaced 3D parallax tutorial and demo stage which is designed to help instruct creators on the methods for calculating the correct values for perfext parallax.
Beterhans would be included in the Mugen Forbes List, however one large critique regarding his work, is his individualistic methods for handling Localcoord in mugen characters and stages which are less universally compatible with traditional mainstay methods for handling localcoord.
Beterhans has been known to release self-proclaimed "True widescreen" stages that use the "zoomout" parameter to reduce character localcoord size rather than adjusting it within the character itself via the common 426.66,320.25 method
