After I finish the last two characters, it will be playable.  The only thing still broken in the system is the combo counter.  It stops counting when you run out of life (Its based on increments of life loss, not hitcount).  Still got to tweak that.  I also still want to finish a pause menu with the move lists, and finally finish the story mode. So to answer your question CancerMan XIII, about 75%; the game will be playable after I finish all of the characters, but there is still a few things I want to add also.

cool, cool. How are you adding a story mode? is it patched into the characters or is is coded into the actual CNS for the game?
Ive only ever seen a story mode done one or 2 times in the past properly. One version was on an old capcom vs snk fangame and it was pretty well done to be honest. had cutscenes at the end of battles and stuff

Yea, I'm using cutscenes just like RedNavi did in his cvs game.  Each scene is coded to appear before each battle.  It was just easier for me to do it that way, since I have everything happening during Roundstate 2.  I intended on doing short video showing what I had (incase anyone has not scene it), but I got caught up in playing that I forgot to stop it.  You can see what I have within the first few minutes.  By the way, I would like to thank everyone for the support and compliments!!! Trying to get this thing finished so people can actually play it!!

People complain about Mugen lacking features to simplify things, that have already been available and doable in mugen for over 15 years!
And with great new addons like Mugenhook adding more and more great new features daily, MUGEN is not going anywhere any time soon!

I am excited to see the story and cutscene ideas you have instore. I love the fan lore and imagination that we all bring to mugen for our games, and I am also proud to see fellow creators making awesome full games like this on mugen 1.1 in trhe year 2023 together with us!

Keep up the awesome work bro! And more importantly, keep us updated and keep on popping in lol!

Lol, nah man.... I just experiment with it every now and then.  Ikemen is cool and everything but... I'm kind of the old school type. I find interest in making impossible things possible.

That is very much the sentiment here and always has been as Newagemugen since as far back as I can remember, and this project seems to ring true to that. Ikemen is good for what it is, but many of the "extras" people waited for so long to have were possible in mugen since the early days just only few knew how to modify cns and implement things correctly. Well done on your project so far. I personally cant fault it from what you have shown so far. It' looks impressive and swill surely be enjoyed by many here

Thanks man. So far it's just a visual thing.  Just trying to give it a realistic feel with some nostalgia.  Everything from the intro on takes place during RoundState = 2; sometimes I just mess around with things to see what I really can do.  Working within RoundState = 2 gives you complete control of everything ( I definitely sure you already know this lol); coding ability is the only limitation (as far as I know).  For example, working within RoundState = 2 allowed me to create a training mode without being able to mash the hotkeys or keyboard to skip it.  

Anyway, thanks for all of the support everyone.  All of the characters are stable, so definitely trying to put out a beta this year for everyone to try!!!

Another quick update. I finally finished creating a proper in-game time clock for 1vs1 mode. In Vampire Savior the clock resets after a character has lost the first round. I had to create my own timer to emulate this. The match starts about half way through; I didn't know it was already recording.

This is looking better and better by the day amigo, it will definitely be one of the best Mugen fullgame releases of the year, I like the little touches like the "press start button" and logo that shows up on the Demo mode screen before the ranks, I cant wait to see more amigo
