A cross up is pretty much when the opponent cannot figure out whether to block left or right. The term "cross up" usually refers to jump attacks, but is sometimes applied to any situation in which an opponent may have difficulty in determining which direction to block in. You'll mostly see cross ups done after the opponent is grounded. When dashes pass through their opponent it can create cross up opportunities on the ground.

I think it looks alright, and also might give out "purpose" in-game. If, for example, the move was blocked, it can easily be punished.

A grab that has apex dash to the opposite side of the opponent and hits them with a dashing elbow( this could be a hcb command throw)
