Oh before I forget.. Does anybody have any fonts they can recommend, for the menu options that would fit nicely with my set up. Before I go on a hunt for fonts tonight.

Try it with metallic and without, just use which ever one you like the best.

As for fonts...
Try Ethnocentric, digital anarchy, Crackvetica, Chintzy CPU BRK, BatmanForever, Basica v.2012, Techno Hideo, or Electroharmonix (for a japanese look). Those are my suggestions, I don't have that many fonts like the other guys around here :P

I have Techno Hideo, that's the font for the Random select ?.
I really like Ethnocentric & :batface:  BatmanForever ( not just because I'm a huge Batman fan).

So I made the kanji a bit smaller and colored it to fit my set up, and also started on the fonts for the menu.

I made the menu options font metallic too with the same color scheme as the kanji.
these pics are just mock ups to see if they will look good, tomorrow ( my day off :Enjoyment: )
I will add everything to the sff and code them and see how they look in mugen.
for the Arcade font it will say REBIRTH (the title kinda like story mode)
the rest will still be the same versus, etc, etc.

once i place them in mugen I will center them better, cuz now that i look at the them they don't look centered.
once I do all the fonts I will begin to animate the Kanji

You could still make the Kangi a bit smaller, move both texts up a bit more (put the kanji a bit above the center and the menu buttons a tad bit lower). It might look better, but right now it looks a bit too squashed around the bottom.

Omg dat kanji looks intense mang. Purple it up a bit more and you'll be my purple brother (I also have the tendency to purple everything XD )

- You could try adding an overlay glow on top of the kanji.
- Try raising the kanji, then center it. Right now, it looks weird.
- To be honest, I don't like the shadows behind the kanji and text.
- Maybe you should add more colors on that background. How about a Yellow + Purple colored background?
- This is just a personal preference, but maybe you could remove the 3D character renders and replace them with 2D drawings? It always bothered me seeing that in screenpacks.



It looks great, it reminds me of Tekken Revolution's design.




Just a suggestion, maybe you could give us 2 separate pics, then you can place it in a sample psd.
1. Kanji Render
2. Background
3. (OPTIONAL) Sample character render

So that we can also give out some layout suggestions. Right now, I have some ideas. It might help you out.

Yoyoyoyoyo Wolf, I have another idea. We could set all of the renders in a specific style, like a comic shaded style.
Kinda like this Jin. That way you could have them 3D renders without having to worry about clashing.
