It's ya boi PhantomD aka mr very busy atm lol.
I don't normally EVER do this but someone sent me a message today that I thought sounded hella weird and worth the Mods looking into.
I'll make this short AF:

Summary:
So, Today I randomly contacted a non-member named "Obsidian Plague" on another server.
Don't know him/her whatsoever lol. He/she just posted some interesting stuff i thought NAM may be interested in, similar to mugenhook.
Offered dude an invitation to join here to which he declined lol.
He gave a wholesome essay as to why lol along with some weird allegations about the community.

So the reason i posted this here is that there's 2 things to take away from this:

1. Useful Feedback from an outsider's perspective on the rules/registration process (something for the Mods to look into/consider?)

2. Someone (current or ex-member) allegedly saying Newagemugen "Hires people to be exclusive" whatever that means exactly IDK but sounds suss.

I'm not gonna spend any more time on this gumbo but I'll leave this here for y'all to discuss/dissect and look into.
I love you guys & our community so if anyone is doing suss stuff/making up drama about the community they need to pull up and explain.

Interesting feedback to say the least.
Very much a 50/50 mix of constructive criticism & irrelevant bias.
I will help by responding to what I can:

- Re: Radioplayer Debugging
Not my dpt. I'll leave that to Daru to look into

- Re: Account & forum access restrictions
This is deliberate and as intended by the founders.
Nothing unique or niche about this. Other forums like MA/AK1 use the same/similar model.
I see no issue regarding our model personally - admins can possibly offer more insight.

- Anti lurker policies/Mugenarchive comparison
Also deliberate and as intended by the Newagemugen founders.
Again, nothing unique or niche here.
The community has flourished under these policies for over a decade.
This differentiates newagemugen from mainstream forums that cater to casual consumers. Newagemugen was specifically created for pro creators, professionals & graphic designers.

- Re the furries/lolita comment
No comment. There are notes on these topics in our forum rules section.
My assumption is this is something the individual personally finds offensive.
Perhaps Admin can address this as these are from before my time.

- Re the hiring people comment
Absolutely no idea what this person is trying to say or even referencing.
The concept of hiring someone to join our website sounds quite comical
My guess is english is not their first language and its a lost in translation error, or just some general misinformation being spread by someone possible removed in the past from the community.

That's my unbiased response from a moderators POV.

Closing & Marking this topic as solved.
There is no evidence or sources to support any of the claims made by this individual.
Furthermore, information has since been forwarded to the Admin team regarding the individual making these claims.

These accusations were made by an individual acting alone in an act of protest against rule 4 of the Newagemugen Terms & Conditions of use policy which prohibit certain explicit/innapropriate/fetishism material.

The individual in question showed a very clear personal interest in some of these banned material/s hence they likely felt personally offended by our community rules which donot tolerate such behaviors/materials or deem them as inappropriate.

Case closed.
