Looks like animated parallax finally works yay.

But there is a new problem lol.

It seems that When using a Parallax floor In Ikemen, in combination with Zoomout camera values, There is Character scrolling displacement occuring on the Y-Axis.
This is an issue not present in Mugen 1.1.

My theory for this is possibly 4 things but again I really have no idea and am just pulling straws out of a hat lol:

1.Ikemen's Camera Zoom settings/camera Float point system work differently from Mugen and are not yet 100% back compatible.
2.Ikemen's Parallax/Delta settings work differently from Mugen and are not yet 100% back compatible.
3.Maybe New Parallax/Delta related Paramters exist that are now required to specify position during zoom of a character/Y-Axis Delta movement etc?
4. Its a bug and I have absolutely no idea lol

Example:

This is how it looks normal in Mugen:

Now see what happens in Ikemen 0.98.2

Also I know it isnt just me because I can see the exact same bug occuring during zoom on Ikemen-Specific stages that were built for Ikemen Only as per below if you watch floor movement carefully on IET Arcade's parallax floor:

If anyone has any info on this, feel free to drop a note here and/or share this around

Thanks for reporting it.
We will work on getting it fixed.

Parallax generally has been a headache to get it right because Mugen's parallax does not follow the documentation at all.

Oh wow you is the Ikemen guy who created it?
Welcome to Newagemugen. Your project is very cool and very difficult work not many people can do it I think.

Holy shit! Gacel!
Whats up bro!
Firstly, thank you for seeing this! And thank you for all of your efforts and hardships working on this engine because trust me I know whats involved with these type of large scale projects - I hope that your hard work is appreciated and if there is anything we can do to help y'all out let us know!

Anyway You probably don't remember me, but we talked a looong long time ago during the early days you were working on the engine with Kathos (if that was his name i forget tbh).
I was going to make a separate topic for this but, there is another big snag on the engine that has been mentioned here in the past.
It is to do with the Alt resolution scaling.
You can read the issue here:
https://www.newagemugen.com/t4212-official-ikemen-go-build-releases-current-build-0-98-2-released-05-03-22#36303

It is under the spoiler where is says "Mugen 1.1 window resize function issue:"

I don't think Kathos was too bothered on addressing it because I dont think he does much content creation that involves multiple applications and so-gfourth, but I can assure you the issue has been mentioned by quite a few people here.
Hopefully it may be considered in the future, atleast if the engine is ever intending to completely replace Mugen 1.1.
Also i'd like to help donate and fund you guys or promote you in any way I can for your effort so please do hit mew up if there is anything we can do bro!

It's one of the things I'm looking to fix.
Because that function is required for the MacOS version to work properly.

MacOS DPI is needed to be managed by the aplication.
So it look like this:
Ikemen Go V 0.98.2 Camera Zoom Parallax y-Delta Bug Screen_Shot_2021-09-25_at_9.47.07_PM
Unless you use a awkward workaround and disable DPI scale.
That function is actually needed to fix it.

My Gf also uses MacOS only, so I know exactly what you are talking about and yes, it is definitely a pain lol.

It is probably worth noting, that this one particular feature has been brought up here and in some other Mugen discords multiple times.
Having the ability to toggle Window/FUllscreen mode and also have full control over the windowed Resolution AND Window size in the same way we had the ability to do so in MUGEN 11, is a massively beneficial factor in the overall creation process especially for Digital professionals.

As you will probably be familiar as I am sure the coding environment and screen workspace requires multiple applications to be open at the same time, Having this function available to us in MUGEN/Ikemen while using Adobe suite, Unity, Blender, Maya, CAD and other various Design software concurrently is a crucial feature to have in the overall design workflow process, so I deeply appreciate that you are looking into it

FYI incase anyone wondering, today I tested the latest release - RC .099 and unfortunately this bug is still present.
Maybe next release?
Also alternate window scaling resolution from 1.1 hasnt been added yet.

I noticed that. surprised they didnt add all the mugen.cfg settings on the much older builds.
I am wondering if it is more the case that they have completely overlooked it in favor of focusing on extra features.
so much has been added. so many new triggers. But the fundamentals are not to be overlooked.
Perhaps something is preventing them from replicating that function with the alt frame res.
