My only comment/critique is the accents seem a bit big/thick imo but i also realize its still a wip and im not seein the whole picture. Im digging it tho
Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad that you mentioned that detail, I was going to talk about this specifically later on once I finished the 3 modes but since we are talking about it now I can show you.
It is definitely quite big, however I can show you why from reference point:
I created the accents based on the exact 1280x720 screen measurements for the Blazblue bars - as you can see, i made sure to match the accents in size and screen space down to the nearest pixel.
The way I am building the lifebar accents means that it can be altered anytime, and even resized if needed.
"better to have too much than too little". Is easier to remove things later t hat are not needed than it is to remake or add new things.
After the turns mode and and tag portraits and other parts are all done, we can relook at it and you can see how you would like me to alter or reduce it.
We can make it look however you like it too look so that's no issue. Also transparency and color and effects I will add to these accents once I have got it all working inside your screenpack.
Also I wanted to show you the updates I have made. I actually decided to totally rebuild everything from scratch as I wasn't happy with a few details in regards to the glass and reflection on the bars.
I wanted you to see how I have incorporated the theme of your screenpack menus with the killer instinct purple hexagons.
I have made it so that when the Bars HP decreases, the empty space will have a holo hexagon background underneath the glass
I have also made the same changes to the turn mode bars and now I will also do it to the 1 vs 1 normal health bars
