It's not on my plans to make a 1.1 version (I don't like mugen 1.1 too much to be honest).

8 player Simul Ikemen fight - Mega Man Robot Master Mayhem


Warning: it's really a mayhem, lol.
Ikemen testing with 8p battle and using a widescreen resolution. No changes were made on the characters, its just a test right off the bat.

We are still considering the pros and cons of moving this project to Ikemen

I'm also curious about Ikemen.
Maybe in a new topic we can all discuss the Ikemen Go topic together and share the knowledge of it :)
I am a little scared to movve and relearn new things but also excited if I can have more fun than Mugen which is already so fun to me

Let's remember my first OpenBOR game: Pocket Dimensional Clash 2.
It was my very fist interaction with OpenBOR, so many mistakes were made

I have always been interested in OpenBOR.
I am guessing by most of the videos I have seen, that it is still and engine with many limitations on graphics and images because I have never seen HD content or 32bit png image based content.

Hum, that is not quite true. Both are different animals, for different usages. It's like saying a fork is better than a spoon - the answer is: it depends.
OpenBOR suports 24bit images and way before Mugen and yes it support high resolution. He-Man game is one example:


Also, OpenBOR does things that Mugen don't, like some raster effects, 4 different axis (while mugen has only 2) and so on.
So I won't use "engine with many limitations" there without having enough knowledge about both engines. Specially becasue, in some topics, Mugen has MORE limitations (like can't outputing simple texts, without using images for that).

Preview of a new mechanic included in the game, suggested by Psykai: Power Dodge



.This dodge works similarly to the normal dodge, but with some differences:

Command:

Forward Power Dodge - F+Block (or hold block and input F)
Backward Power Dodge - hold block and input B

Benefits:

- In the forward version, your character turns at the end of the animation automatically, allowing combos on the back of enemies

- Recovery time shorter than normal dodge

Disadvantages:

- Only available to melee characters (with one exception, Black Widow) and who are fast.

- It costs MP This makes the difference between melee and ranged combat characters even greater.

the transparency of the animation of sprite and the aesthetic and can recreate like Street Of rage 4 type quality is meaning maybe my english not explain it so good

But all of this is already possible, it's a design choice of mine. Plus, gameplay > graphics to me.

Oh really that is very cool. Because I never saw that kind creation in OpenBor before.
I tried ask one guy from Brazil maybe you know he my friend is a doctor guy name Tendou he also old mugen 2002 creator long time like you.
He said maybe not so many HD looking modern style feature in Opennor because nobody made it before like that 1080p stuff.

Maybe I need research openbor more. Is like Mugen can import the any animations and png and stuff?

In some aspects, it can be way easier to do basic things. But other things are harder than them should be.
It's a different animal.

this seems absolutely awesome Illusionista good job.
It sort of reminds me of how on the sega genesis, there were ways to cheat on some games to use forbidden characters before we had emulators and hacks.
Like in Sonic there was ways to get knuckles or infinite rings super sonic in sonic the hedgehog 2.
Gold war machine seems so cool and the canon is golden (get the joke lol)
