Explain here how you came up with your Mugen username.
I chose mine (Girlfriends lil bro) because when Tamez was in Phantom G's back in the day he'd refer to me as "GLB" considering he was dating my sister. So if I ever spoke in the chat on his account, or he spoke about me it'd be "GLB:" Or "Girlfriends Lil Bro:"
So as a joke between Phantom G's and I, I made my name GLB while signing up everywhere else when I was learning stages and doing mugen forums independently.

The origin of my name goes way back in 2008. Orginally my name started as "DissidiaNua", taking them off both "Dissidia: Final Fantasy" and "Fate/Stay Night". Then simply shortened it to "Dissidia around 2009-2010. By the time I joined PhantomGs, I was simply known as "Diss" "DJ Diss" and went on with those names.
Mine came from a nickname I got back in high school. My real name is Jon, and in high school I was considered THE Napoleon Dynamite impersonator. Put the two together, and BAM! There's my username.

DJ Diss was a badass name, why don't we call you that anymore?
long story short...diehard wolverine fan...the number 20 comes from Brian Dawkins (one of my favorite athlete s of all time) who played for the philadelphia eagles who was also a diehard wolverine fan..and nicknamed him self "Weapon X". my name is basically an onomatopoeia of "The Other Weapon X" said sped up; daothaweaponx. the 20 comes from brian dawkins number.
AND HE PLAYED LIKE WOLVERINE TOOO
... he retired this year...still get chills every time i see this...

Heh, its a wonder why I haven't explain this here before...
Vegaz_Parrelli
When I was younger, hanging out...partying, drinking and just "willen" out. I used to use the word "parr" a lot. This stood out because its typically a word people from NY, Philly, or maybe Connecticut use. I used it so much that people referred to me as "Parr." Soon my friends jokingly called me "Vegas" cuz I was "flashy" at times. I wanted to create a nickname that sounded like a whole name, so I extended "parr" to "Parrelli" in honor of the rims of the same name. Cuz wats more flashier than a set of fresh rims, ya dig!?
LightFlare_ Da_Realest
Some of you may have guessed where thus comes from, but let me set the record straight...
When I showed up at MFFA, I got a lot of love and praise. I ran into my brother-from-another Alpyne_D. He helped me under the guise of an "alter ego" by supplying me with tools and software. In one of his responses, he referred to me as "Realest." No doubt cuz it sorta rhymes with Vegaz and it described what he thought of me. At the same time, j had been playing around with a new alias...LightFlare. That has a story of its own...
LightFlare
When I first dropped my very first contribution, I remember someone at Infantry saying they thought it "reeked of compilation". Fast forward to 2 months later around April Fools day. I had been noticing a certain forum member who was being a jerk to all the members. No, not Orochi Gill...Darkflare. It was then I realized the HE was the same guy when made that compilation comment. Not only that, but he was the VERY first person to comment on ANYTHING I made. Lucky me. The comment wasn't bad, but what he did to other people burned me up. Here's the thread I started back when it happened if you want more details...
although, at tha time it was kreated, i didn't realize i pretty much it predicted my future dealin' with music in general, & just how much of an impact that it would have on my life.
i guess destiny's funny that way, huh?
so, in Lambert, Mississippi, back when i was 12, me some friends started rappin' & such, & so with that we had to come up with rap names. my friend all came up with kool names, but i was havin' problems figurin' 1 out for myself. well, 1 day, my kool-as-hell uncle Ronald had came down from St. Louis to visit tha family in tow, & while he & i were hangin' out at tha crib, i told him my dilemma, & wonder'd if he could help me out. so we started brainstormin', tryna come up with some ideas [i will not shame myself by utterin' any of'em out loud], but none of'em felt right [due to most of'em bein' wack as all hell]. & then, just when it seem'd all but hopeless, this video came on:
Spoiler:
before you read any further, pay close attention between 0:49 - 0:55
all of a sudden, it hit both of us like a bolt of lightning, & we damn'd near said it at tha same time:
ALPINE!!! THAT'S IT!!!
it work'd, but it still seem'd a little lite, so we both tried sayin' a few of tha typical [at that time anywayz, lol] rap name add-ons & such along with it [MC, DJ, Fresh, -Ski, etc.], just to see what might work. then, Ronald was like "why not just use tha 1st letter from your 1st, last, or middle name & put it on tha end?". hmmmm.....
ALPINE - L......ehhh, no. ALPINE - G.....nice, but too weird. ALPINE - D.....THAT'S SOOO DOPE!!! IT'S PERFECT!!!
it truly felt right to me, & thus, Alpine - D was born, but was still bein' forged as time past'd. but still, i show'd my new alter mad luv, & dove into it head-1st; i drew & iron'd-on tha name on some of my shirts, bleach'd it in some of my jeans, & even had it tag'd on my skateboard AND a couple pairs of my kicks [damn i miss my Lotto's & my BK's!]!!
& beccuz of its birthplace, my luv for music, especially my luv for TRUE Hip-Hop, became more & more apparent as tha years went by, tho i didn't immediately realize this til years later reflectin' back on life; i damn'd near alwayz kept headphones, a tape deck, & a bunch of tapes on my person, i join'd tha choir in church & enjoy'd it [& some of its perks i gotta admit, like visitin' other churches & gettin' with some of tha fine femmes that'd be there, heh heh heh.....], i was destined to join Band in high school thru an odd turn of events, & was in tha Drum section, which made my ear for tha levels music more fine-tuned [& we were tha best Band in tha city durin' my whole HS stint xD], & i also join'd tha school choir as well [which would sometimes lead to me doin' quick changes from my Band uniform to my choir clothes & vise versa at certain events, lol], & that same luv for music eventually drove me to doin' kutz & such with music, & doin' in mugen what i do today. like i said, destiny is funny that way.
anywhosit, some short time later after Alpine - D was born, i replaced tha "i" with a "y" [i think i was in junior high in Clarksdale, Ms at tha time when i did this]; it look'd & felt more dope to me. some odd years later, i went & drop'd tha hyphen, cuz growth-wise it felt like it was tha right thing to do. "Da Wrekka" came to be an extension of Alpyne D, in a sense, "my alter's alter", if you will; it's tha more harder side of Alpyne, tha "stompin'-down-tha-street-in-Timerland-boots-mean-muggin'-fools" side, show'd that Alpyne wasn't to be taken lightly, lol.
so, after years of mendin' & moldin', tha kreation of Alpyne D was finally complete.
