The stage is normal. Then is fades to black. A scarey imageflashes from the darkness. When the photo flashes, it's in a pulse animation from camtasia.

I like this blue version you made better Mark. The red is kinda annoying. Blue is more soothing to the eyes, plus the edge of the trees are blended far better with this hue.

We won't use RGB, just use dithering. We'll also use EXshadow's Anti-aliasing method. Layer 6 will be a sub layer tint, so invert it back then darken it until you get good results.

I told you, use dithering (Set to Pattern) so that it'll look great.

I did. Most of those are set to dithering. I made the shrine and forest separate from the blurred glows, which i then added on other layers via trans = add

Ah, then it's not your fault then. Mugen 1.0 handles color blending like shit, that's why.

I think we could cover up the color loss if we got those light rays to be nice and clean, but right now, they actually have the most loss.

I'll use an alpha on the blurred overlays and see if I can reduce the colorloss. I'll also add a gradient and see if that helps at all.

The stage looks nice IMO, just a tad bit of too much colorloss. Do you want to go 1.1?

The separate light ray sprite that I made, did you merge it down with the shine sprite? If they still look like shit, then we have no choice but to either grayscale it, index to 256 colors, then recolor/RGB it. Your choice.

Dude, I made the blurred layers into animations and it got rid of quite some colorloss, or at least made it more unnoticeable.

I think we have to grayscale and recolor the lights.
