I grew up very interested in art, always drawing pictures in class and at home, but I did not know how to turn that into a career. In college I discovered graphic design, which combined my love of art with my love of computers and technology. When I discovered MUGEN, it was like a dream come true. The idea that I would get to DESIGN my own custom fighting game, and that I had the skills to create my own graphics for it if need be was too good to be true. (It still kind of feels like a dream to be honest.) Now much older, and with a family, I am still working on that perfect roster and perfect game presentation, albeit at a slower and more methodical pace.
For a few years now, I've been working on a MUGEN version of Ryu Hayabusa's Classic NES design based on edited Hattori Hanzo (Samurai Shodown) character sprites. The artwork/sprite work/palette creation is pretty much all finished. Really looking forward to sharing it with you all. Would also love if anyone is interested in jumping in and helping with a custom moveset.
Looking forward to exploring this site more, getting a feel for things and contributing.
