Ok so I'm ending 2k16 with a fresh system.
Spent 3 days before christmas hard formatting my C drive and reinstalling windows 10 pro from scratch.
I must say everything is running smooth.
Now I just have to reinstall all me games and Adobe suite 2017 XD 1 by 1 - heres half of them anyway.

I've tried so many times to set up rainmeter with launchers and good skins but at the end of the day you can't beat the start menu and given how little you see of the start menu it really is kind of pointless.

yeah rainmeter and the alienware mods were cool back when windows 7 first came out - but I was always switching between resolutions for different games/apps and they would always get displaced and messed up.
But once you switch from 1920/1080 to 4K its so much better coz you have a shitload of extra room on your desktop to play with and things dont get moved around anymore
