WIP that has been sitting on my computer for a year or two.
huge Tekken fan although I stopped playing Tekken 7 in favor of the older tekkens I enjoy on my PS3 or emulator.
I really love the lore and the legacy of the Mishima clan.

Recently was playing some old Tekken on emulator and some ideas started brewing that made me pick this up again.


Tekken 4, 5, revolution and some parts of 7 have inspired this.
Basically a "what if" stage based on the Mishima castle/temple dojo or Mishima honbu area.
We don't know much about where it is situated or the outside surrounding area as we only ever get glimpses of in game or the CG intros.
In the Tekken Blood vengeance movie we discover that the Mishima dojo is built on top of the ancient Mokujin spirits burial site, so that may influence where I go with this stage

Where is source sprites from or is it original stage?

It looks like you are create the wide zoom size by looks of the super jump which is good idea
What localcoord will it be?
What are you make it in?

Had some time to revisit this. Made various tweaks and have expanded the landscape more.
Using D's gradient scroll trick to make the stage colors change and ambience switch periodically.
Using tiled deltas to achiecve the 3d rugged landscape effect.
I will be doing the same with the far far distance mountain area and slopes layer by layer.
Also added an evil statue like tekken 7 Mishima dojo

Source sprites are from various images and artwork i have stockpiled over the years here and there with intent to use.
I have no idea the original names or authors of them.
It will be ultra wide zoom with Super jump and the localcoord is native 720p but all the sprites are 4k with downscaling for sharper image res and its openGL so you can use in 4k too like my other stages.
I use various software for stage creation, the full adobe CC suite is obviously a staple base for all my work.

I really like the atmosphere.
It would look good with some snow or fire and stuff somewhere.

This is shaping up pretty well.

Stage looks super clean already. Love how this looks.

I have question.
I know you are very busy on other projects commissions for long time so never finished your stages so will you finish it?
If you donot finish it you can give to me I will continue it Because My friend Mr Grayfox ask me about is any new projects, so we can bring to life this one.

I actually completely forgot about this project.
I have been extremely busy with work for other clients that I haven't had time for any of my personal work.
I would still like to finish this myself and considering a New tekken is coming it feels fitting, however commissions tend to put my personal projects on the backburner. I am currently waiting on a reply from another user regarding a commission request so depending on that, we will see.
Maybe we can do a collaboration on it and put 2 heads together on this one

this looks like a great stage im looking to fill my mugen with big hi res stages and this fits that

This stage will eventually be completed once I have finished a few other commission projects I am working on for 2 clients, and a possible 3rd I am awaiting confirmation from.
