Hi guys, and especially any new members.
The powers that be have suggested it is time we create an introduction to mugen category of sorts.
The aim of this is to help new members or mugen beginners swiftly integrate into our community.
As most of our older members are either part of the mid/late 2000s era, or the 1st wave of 2010 newagemugen, it is likely that the majority all came here by knowing someone or private invitation/word of mouth.
Now that we are gaining more attention and popularity from the wider community, we feel that we should be more public and approachable, and if anything, welcoming to new people finding it hard to break through that "veteran" wall that has for the most part been at the core of our community.
So this will be an induction category of sorts for :
- people absolutely unaware of mugen that are just starting out
- new people to our community unsure of who we are/what we do here
- explaining the difference between this community and the wider "mainstream" mugen forums.
Some suggestions such as videos and member biographies have been made where people can get to know us and who's who,
but what other ideas do you guys have as far as useful information to provide newcomers to help integrate them into the community faster?
