Whew...ok last 2 updates for today:
Made a small update to the select screen BG which is now a new animated pattern instead of the old space scenery:

And this took me a while - added the new combo hit fonts:

(maybe I will lower them a bit below the portraits but they are going to change anyway on the next release after this beta i send you soon.
And I still need to fix the left hand side aswell:

Firstly, amazing stream on Christmas eve. I enjoyed watching and listening to all the positive feedback we getting on the project.
Now I know we still have a lot of work to do, and time is money, so I think we need to make a start on the new portrait design for the lifebars.
We also need to do the portraits for the win screen and the vs screen.
In fact, I am considering a total redesign of the select screen with new portraits for that as well, so it means that ALL the character artwork needs reworking.
I have some ideas on how we can do that quite quickly, but I will need your help on a few things for us to get that done.
I mentioned it before, but we need to reconvert all the characters .sff files to the Mugen 1.1 format.
It is easy to do.
You add the palettes into the characters .sff file and do some small text edits to the .def file and the .cns file.
Then you save it in fighter factory and it actually makes the .sff file much smaller in size which is good for mugen.
Also you can use high quality artwork files which normal mugen 1.0 couldnt use for the artwork.

Is it possible for you to get your character folder updated so the chars are all in the 1.1 format?
