Well, here comes another beta stage for you guys. I made this stage for you guys. :)

V1.2 Release

What's new:
More billboards
Added 2 layers of buildings
Adjusted deltas
Some stuff that I forgot What a Face

What's to come:

Some info:
- The Bulding sprites, some of the billboards, Mcdonalds sign, Smoke and Fireworks are made by me.
(Rendered the Building sprites myself)
- This is my Second stage
- If you think that I stole the "Train" rood/floor sprite, then i'm sorry. I just found it in Google.
(That also includes the Electric posts)
- Added Tint
- I'll still be editing the codes, some stuff feels OP.
- The BGM that i'm using is from Tekken 6, Electro Fountain stage.
- I'll be adding more Billboards, anyone here still gonna submit Billboard designs?
- I can't seem to fix the Gradient problem :|

How I tried to fix the Gradient Problem:

Step 1 - Open the image in Photoshop
Step 2 - Added Radial Blur (10%)
Step 3 - Gaussian Blur (10%)
Step 4 - Set it to Indexed mode, Local (Perceptual)
Step 5 - Save image
Step 6 - Set to RGB Color
Step 7 - Added Radial Blur
Step 8 - Set to Indexed mode, Local (Perceptual)
Step 9 - Set which the Transparent color will be, then save .act file then cancel setting the changed colors
Step 10 - Set back to RGB Colors
Step 11 - Set to Indexed mode, Custom, load saved .act file
Step 12 - Save as .pcx, done!


But no matter how many times I repeat the process, it all results into a crappy gradient.
Can anyone explain what I did wrong?

I feel that McDonald's sign clashes badly, mainly because having a sign of a restaurant in a stage feels a bit odd, may just be me though.
As for the billboards they seem too big imo, anyway I'll test this out.
Also for the gradient issue why don't you try PMing jeanbureau? He could help out with that.

Feedback:

Macdonald pillar delta is wrong. The pillar must slide faster.
Fireworks delta is wrong and looks weird. I understand you want to make it look like they are far away but it looks impossible for now so either you reduce the animation size and speed or you change the delta so the fireworks slides as well but slower.

zoffset is too low. never have your characters touching the bottom of the screen with their feet.

I recommend maybe using another or two layers of buildings with different deltas to create a deepness effect exactly like i did in Vietnam war with the moutains. I had like 5 layer i think.

great work so far keep it up.

The gradient is better, i know it could be better but right now it's not a priority issue compared to the deltas etc.

Put more time into it, there's no rush.

If you're going to put restaurant signs in the stage try and blend them in with your city a bit more.

The power lines are a nice thought, but they clash and look awkward (out of place) and distracting.

The billboard use is fine, but try and keep them to a similar size. I'm positive Gun0 won't mind use of the billboard with some credit.

Just take your time, bro.
