I am.creating this thread to sicuss the Astral Heat EX Galaxy Dream Battle Screenpack project commissioned by Lunalucard55, CreepyTarantino and NK3s.

So far, 90% of the screenpack has been completed, and a custom version called NK3s Edition has bern created for NK3s/All goldsaint members which excludes some features.

The purpose of this topic is to discuss whether anyone would like to commission the final incomple parts, or request any other changes to make it a true 100% complete screenpack.
Below is a summary of completed work:  
















Advanced 450 Slot Select Screen and animated font system mod


The work shown above has been sent to all Goldsaint members as "NK3s Edition".
Thankyou to Lunalucard55/NK3s/Creepytarantino for their contributions to this project.

As it would be shame for this project to not be released as an official complete Newagemugen sponsored release, I am leaving his topic open for the time being incase anyone would like to access or/commission the unfinished parts.

The current default portrait build titled NK3s Edition does not have any of the following:

- Victory Win Quote Screen
- Custom Portrait Winscreen HD system
- Game Over Screen
- Continue screen

If anyone is interested in continuing/taking over/sponsoring this remaining work please drop your comments below. If there is no interest over the following months, I will close this topic and leave it as is.

How much is to finish to job my man, I sent you a pm.lol We need to complete this master piece. I'm proud of what you and PD have done, this far. I can't wait to, jump on the creative wagon again.

The remaining work is as follows:

- Victory Win Quote Screen concept and design (3 hours)
- Game ending credits system (1hour)
- Victory winquote font system (1 hour)
- Custom Portrait Winscreen HD system template (1 hour)
- Custom portrait winquote system import and coding/animations (2 hours)
- Game Over Screen design (1.5 hour)
- Continue screen design (one hour)
- coding/anims/import gameover screen (1.5 hour)
- Select screen centre graphics modification+ extra animations (2 hours)

So approximately 14 hours @18.00 as per our forum rules however thanks to Lunalucard55 some of this is already covered so in total 175.00 worth of work only is remaining

I see, I will donate on a later basis. Like the first of next month. That's for sure, we can go over what needs to be if need be ideas. I would like for you to continue what you have already started. Don't want to change the formula is place already. Also, what I need to donate to test out the beta. I saw a little something in the life bars that I think needed more animation. But can't say for sure without actually testing out for my self. Let me know the beta price and I will get to you asap.

It is an amazing work my friend and it can only get better and better.
There is small edit i would like to see - which is to add the "character select" text somewhere big, over the top of the screen after "welcome" very briefly when the panels open.
Also the steel door that closes down at vs screen maybe change brightness and blend a little more with some animations or something.
I will send you the PM about it i am happy to donate to support these personal changes my friend

I am not too worried about the missing parts you mentioned at the moment, as I am more than happy to fund them finishing at a later time.
My question is would it be possible to donate an ammount to access the current NK3s Edition version?

Fortunately some generous people have already made forum donations which help us continue with this good work, so I will be completing these final steps at which point non gold saint members will have the option to donate for access also.

I am not 100% sure what  a goldsaint Meme res is - could you perhaps explain to me some more information about it and i will do my best to find out for you to answer your query

Also one small update: Thank you to the Goldsaint members who made some kind donations to Newagemugen, especially Lunalucard55.
I will be continuing the previously mentioned work on this to complete the NK3s edition for standard portraits and include the missing menu screens aswell as other small improvements.
I will continue to post the progress footage here as it evolves.

The first upgrade I will be adding, is the victory screen for normal portraits NK3s edition version.
It will use the default character 9000,1 portrait so you dont need to add anything to any characters for it to automatically work.
Here is some very early work in progress footage of the winner screen updates.
I still have much work to do to finish it but I have started adding the pieces together such as the intro sequence whereit will say WINNER! and also the part where the text and things will appear I have added the animated background.

Next step is I have to fix the Portrait and create a frame for it and fix size then I can add the text box and various other fixes

another small victory winquote screen update:

- Added the vertical scrolling hexagon resources theat also display during the options screen to the win screen. I decided on reusing these since they work so well to hold the theme together.

- Resized the winner portrait (default 9000,1 character portrait)

The next things I need to do are:

- Update the Winquote Font
- Create the graphics for the winquote text box
- Calculate and code the size of the winquote textbox and text wrapping so it universally supports all characters
- Add the textbox cor the winner characters name to show up
- add the header and footer extra game related graphics and animations like credits/coins infographics to maintain the real arcade game feel and look.
- Create the character portrait frame
- reposition the character portrait to the center
- additional graphical fixes

Updates:

- Fixed and properly coded the Winquote font system
- Fixed Text-wrapping for winquote text and wide italic fonts via the Window Parameter function.
- Fixed and updated center portrait scale and position
- Added glass overlay effect to winner portrait
- repositioned and resized winquote text box
- Fixed Name position

Now I can move on to adding a few more small header/footer details.
So far I am happy with the layout

It continues to be impressive everytime my good friend.
Tbe color combinations are very nice and vibrant indeed

I just wanted to stop by to say this is one of the most beautiful Mugen screenpacks I have ever seen!
I hope there is a way for us to play it in the future! I would be happy to contribute to it but I worry my PC may not be strong enough for it....

It is great to see you back at newagemugen.
We were quite surprised and shocked by your sudden disappearance earlier this year.
Considering the uncertainty of Covid's aftermath, among other catastrophic worldly events many have been affected by these past few years, it is great and relieving to see you are still alive and well.

Regarding your project, to avoid any confusion, please note that none of your personal project has been publicly redistributed or used in any ways outside of the newagemugen commissions guide/newagemugen rules & terms of use policy.

The extensions to this project are 100% internally requested/managed by myself and senior forum staff only.
All of this is as per the rules outlined in the commission services guide T&Cs.

The modifications and extensions here are internal mods for our Goldsaint/founder staff only - not for general community/public.
Only myself, Goldsaint members and senior commission staff have access to your project files as per the community commission rules. If you have any uncertainties regarding this please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

In the meantime, one important thing you have pointed out is that this topic has actually been complete/due for archiving since
26.07.22.
The final modifications for this were a victory winquote system using default portraits which were completed earlier this year. With that said, this project can now be officially closed and moved to the completed section of our forum.
The final alternate build version for this addon, 2.4.0 was completed in July 2022.

Apologies if there was any confusion caused regarding this matter, and it is good to see you back again
