I noticed one small bug.
When the characters reach the bottom area there are strange bright pink circles like a bulls eye around their feet when they touch the ground

nah, not a bug! its the water splash animations from msh

Its been so long since i played mshvsf i cant even remember if they had splash effects in the game, but im wondering now that i cant unsee what has been seen,
If you could make better splash sprites in there than the default ones.
Ya know like, improve on the original and whatnot

i aint a spriter unfortunately so i cant draw new ones but if better rips are available i'll use

You are in the Ikemen/clone engine thread.
Ikemen Go which this stage is made for, is a new engine in development that adds extra codeable features like interactive stages by using an "invisible" character parameter called addchar.

But to answer your question yes mugen can and always has been able to do this.



The way it is done in mugen is very different from the Ikemen clone engine version.
For example in mugen you would add rhe required codes into the characters instead of
Code them as an invisible character attached to the stage.
If you look up a creator called electr0 or Immortal syn you will see interactive stage examples dating back over 10 years. Examples:

damn that looks good! so what is the difference with this? this one requires pasting code in all mah stuff and only works in full games or using a special screenpak, too?

all downloads for the ikemen go engine are here exclusively in this section.
To use this stage you need to use the ikemen go engine instead of mugen.
There is a download link in this section at tbe very top in the sticky posts to their latest version. If you arent familiar with ikemen Go, you may need to do some googling and trial error to fully utilise it to its potential as it is quite different from mugen in terms of adding stuff and compatibility will vary with some mugen content just as a heads up.
It is still in development and is currently at version 0.982 i believe.

you didnt know about the ikemen before?

neh its been a while since I cheked out the moojinz stuff. so this ikemen stuff is for stages only? if it is like the winmugen plus hack those were the days lol

yes but ther way to code will be different. Ikemen and Mugen has different way of adding features. some things work in both program some things not in both program
