LEGACY Cross Tag Battle Logo System Assets & Title Screen Design
This is the official project thread and fork of The Official Legacy hybrid Cross Screenpack Project:
Project Summary
- Create original Logo design to specifications outlined in Master thread for Shadic12/CancerManXIII/Chris's Original Screenpack/Fullgame project [Legacy Cross Tag Battle].
- Create additional reusable Digital assets for Logo system with intention of multipurpose use in
further game development stages as per required specifications outline in [Asset requirements]
- Create fullscreen attract mode style Title/loading screen .sff/.def system as per specifications.
General Ingame Specifications
Mugen Version: Mugen 1.1
Rendering Mode: OpenGL
Resolution: Native 720p (upscale via OpenGL to 1440p)
PC Hardware limitations: NONE (with consideration for use with Handhelf 1280x800 handheld device as per specifications)
Logo Design
- Original Logo/Title design and this will be incorporated into the main screenpack menus/design
- Confirmed Logo/Game Title Name: Legacy Cross Tag Battle
Logo Asset requirements
1. Layered Logo PSD in 16bit
1a. All exported brush/style swatches
1b. Asociated color pals for PS plugins
1c. add exports/.sff pre import data for each logo component
1d. any unformatted custom fonts asociated
1e. Anim timings for any anim seq (ill dm you regarding this but I assume you know what i refer to)
2. SVG, .AI, Vector output files in RAW format.
3. Associated AE files and folder layer (if/where anims are applied)
Design Key Features:
1. A cuturistic cyber look
2. The colors need to have the legacy theme like the original and shadics lifebars
3. It should look like a real arcade fighting game
4. The title screen part should have a customised portrait cycling type system of some sort.
Reference examples/style inspirations:
- diamond-shaped logo of Blazblue Cross Tag Battle
- CVS series
- Melty Blood Series
- Take inspiration from the best elements out of the ones mentioned to make a unique/original Logo
Workload Summary
- Design Logo for LEGACY CROSS (Tag Battle) or "legacy cross"
- Use colors/styles/Aesthetics as per discussed/samples
- Influence design of complexity via simplicity
(ie fighting ex layer/Blazblue/capcomvs snk diamond approach)
- Incorporate X OR CROSS symbol if/where possible ( Supply possible Variants)
- Incorporate original Legacy Aesthetic as discussed
- Animate per layer, and supply animated frames as importable png/editable .ae template for exsirius to use in SP as required.
- Supply fully editable/layered PSD and Vectors to ExSirius for use in SP tp his required specs
- Concept & Design: max 4 Hours
- Layering/building & Texture creation/application max 4 hours
- Import base design to animation suite/animate per layer +export max 3.5 hours
- Formatting/supplying individual reuse templates .png/.AI/PSD/Svg etc max 2.5 hours
- Mugen 1.1 Title screen creation template: Max 1.5 Hours
- Legacy style cycling Custom Port system + Template 4.5 Hours
- .sff/.DEF additional coding and import
