What's going on y'all it's your boy Majin Kaine. I know this is my first post of this topic but I'm thinking of doing a MVC type project called Street Fighter Z: Epic Encounters.

Street Fighter Z: Epic Encounters is an upcoming MUGEN project featuring Street Fighter and Dragon Ball Z characters battling against each other I different worlds. The game will be having 32 characters and stages with various background music from their video games. The tag system for this project will be Uno Tag Patcher and the reason why I picked this because the DBZ characters Kenshiro99 are very buggy at the moment so I decided to use Uno Tag instead. The tag system will be based on Street Fighter X Tekken so you can do the additional combos.

With that been said, I'm in a need of unpaid help for creating a screenpack for both 1.0 and 1.1 with regular portraits (no HD because it's too much work to replace them). If you're one of those guys who make screenpacks, you are welcome to reply or message me if you have any questions about this project.

Interesting project there young grasshopper
About time we had a DBZ Street fighter crossover.
Now when you say "project", do you mean you are creating a fullgame mugen project?
Or are just making a compilation of downloaded characters and adding tag patch and portraits and a screenpack?
And yep you are darned right about kenshiro99 stuff - they fly off screen and do some wack crap in my mugen 1.1 so i deleted most of them if not all by now hehe.

To answer your question, yeah I'm creating a full game project. I ain't gonna go back and forth with the add004 stuff for kenshiro's characters. That's why I decided to use Uno Tag anyway. When I look up other people's projects, they are pretty outdated so why not make summ light with MVC style.

The mechanics when it comes to Tag Team is based on street fighter x tekken (instead of mvc system) because it's based on the original game and I like how the tag system works like that. I mean I would use the mvc system but I don't think I can do that. Say like I did a super and the mvc2 or mvc1 background keeps moving after switched the character. So I have to switch that character to remove the background from looping. That's why I prefer the SFxT tag system more.

As for the characters, some street fighter characters will be mvc2 and mvc1 styled due to Uno Tag not supporting some of them. As for the DBZ characters, they are completely mvc1 styled and I like them that way.

Are you going to be coding characters yourself for this project?
Or just unotag patching characters that already exist and making a compilation.
And if so, what things are you coding, ie new moves, new mechanics like advancing guard and guard break or something.

Also at some stage this week should have your channel banner updated too.
Remember to keep dropping your vids on the forum posts aswell for the algorithm to work.

Also you can make a separate channel in Gaming for your gaming/non mugen streams aswell if you like and still use the website for the algo.
I'm going to add some more relevant search tags for retrogaming to help with that

I don't think I can create another channel anymore. I got too bored using the new ones I created so I decided to stay using the channel I have now. I don't think there is a way to separate them but I rather keep doing the videos here. Due to dropping videos, I'm trying to stay as active as I can but IRL had me off guard not doing what I suppose to do. I don't really get on the media like that more often.

I don't mean create a new youtube channel.
What I mean is, you have a youtube channel called Majinkaine.
You youtube channel is about mugen sometimes, and about gaming sometimes.
You post your mugen videos on the mugen cinema topic thread on our website here to get the algorithm boost.
What I meant was, you could do the same technique with your non-mugen videos aswell.
As long as they have a site link in the youtube video description, you could create a gaming only thread for them here:

Google will also attempt to boost views for the selected keywords such as #retrogaming or whatever you choose. You just have to tell us what they are and we will do the rest to try get the algorithm to boost your videos in gaming search results.

I hope this all makes sense and off topic lol.

And yeah more importantly is not letting hobby interfere with real life responsibilities - especially if your hobby ain't securin dat bag lol.

I will offer you my opinion but it's just my personal view.
Anyone who plays mugen and knows basic things, can use tag patch, download characters, and put into a screenpack and adjust stages lifebars yaddah yaddah.
If you have a project, it has to be something special that not anyone has or can do.
Otherwise all you are doing is calling your personal mugen compilation a "project".
Also, you will appreciate your own personal mugen project even more, if you take a little time yourself to maybe learn some basic things in mugen like how to make character portrait.
If other people can do it, you can too.

It's a little bit of effort that's all.
30 minutes of your time to learn and you wont have to rely on other people for help so much #justanopinionthough What a Face .
It takes a very kind hearted amigo to help on a compilation for free now days in the commission age which is more the norm now.
but there's still a few rare charity cases out there maybe lol
