nice work beterhans.
I'm not sure about the "true widescreen" thing as far as using zoomout to scale characters though.

The ideal method is to use the correct localcoord scaling which is in most cases 426.66 horizontal scale factor since 1.1 ignores the yscale.
However i understand why you do it as it requires the whole character to be updated which is probably too hard for people. but good work
