i remember at the Mugen Legion we had a shout box, it was pretty cool but we already have that news feed thing in the corner so i dont know how effective or necessary a shout box would be. :/

Agreed with Godzilla. I don't think that a shout out box is really necessary. If you want to "holla" at somebody just send them a message. That way if you get embarrassed the entire world won't see lol

The kind of shoutout box you are recommending isn't possible for these forums. A shoutbox itself is possible, however it still requires a log in, and things of that nature. Therefor, I see it as more of a chat, which seems unnecessary.
