Hi, Paul Matthew here, I thought I would use this post to say some stuff.

When mugen 1.1 got leaked on MFG I was doing a little experimenting, like adding transparent animated static behind the blue bar. (nothing special, was just checking out the 32bit colour, so no effort was put into this, however I am going to be remaking this lifebar.)

The first thing I actually made for mugen was actually 720p stages that I drew in ms paint some years back, kinda like that recent Electro-bar wip(btw Electro-bar's look will be updated), they turned out great as I actually did put some effort into them unlike the 2 lifebars I released so far( I was trying to see if I can sorta code a lifebar basically), but at the time I made the stages, it never once crossed my mind to release them, sadly they were lost. /:

Lately I haven't really touched Mugen much at all, and my reasons being:
-My job, school and my gf.
-When I'm at home and got some free time, I just want to chillax, and for me that is normally watching/reading anime/manga or gaming.

I'm feeling motivated again though, so hopefully I can get some work done on that lifebar. (:
I'm still a novice when it comes to the coding part though, so if anyone can enlighten me on the coding side of things that would be great thanks. I also have skype if that would make things easier.

have you thought about putting fancy as stuff in the lifebars now that we can use 32bit png's?

What exactly do you need help with on the coding side? I think its simple enough to be clarified on the forum

I already made lighting sprites, though this will be a part of Electro-bar itself, but if you meant for the lifebar edit I showed in this post I had something else in mind.

I was thinking like certain animations only happen when someone is hit or the portrait with the frame shakes slightly when hit, things like that.

Oh that. Well that can only be done through character coding. Mugen is pretty limiting with everything except characters.

No problem, that one was an old edit though, I am redrawing all the sprites right now to be 1.1 worthy.

The sprites look within about 256 colors so I don't think converting it to 1.0 should take too much time
