This is the Hills stage from Naruto Shippuuden: Naruto vs. Sasuke. I'm not really sure why it's called "Hills" since there is mainly a large body of water that you're standing on and a small mountainous region behind it. In any case, enjoy.

Description: I wanted to make a stage with water in it for my full game, so here it is.

Installation:
Place the "Hills.def" and "Hills.sff" files in your "Stages" folder and place
the "Hills.mp3" in your sounds folder. That's it. Add it to your select.def
and you're done.

[Conclusion]
I wanted to try my hand at adding water ripples to a sprite. This is the result. This stage is
just one of those ones that stands out in a weird way. By this I mean: you end asking
yourself "Where do they stand? On the water? On that rock structure?" It's just unique,
so I decided to make it. Characters stand on the water with a reflection. Clouds roll
across the sky and a different sun sprite was added that looks better.

Just looked it over, not much to say considering it's from a source and it seems well done. It's a nice concept, it's a bit weird they're on water, but again, it's source.

You don't have to have all the elecbyte semi-coloned notes, you can remove those they're unnecessary.

Your bgmvolume can go to 255 in value, just in case you were under the impression that 100 is the cut off point.

Everything seems fine in your .sff, cropped and centered sprites.

It's a nice stage all in all, I'd like to see more custom/original stuff from you. study

Hey GLB, thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's not exactly the prettiest thing, but trust me when I say it looks a lot better than the source :P I put them on the water because it's a Naruto stage
and it will be used in my NZC Full Game, so it fits that universe where everyone can basically walk on water, etc.

Ah ok. Thanks for the info. I guess I just took what was written there in stage0.def to heart.

Will do. I had a couple of more stage ideas (custom ones), but one is going to be SIGNIFICANTLY harder to make than the other. Either way, I'd like to make both. As far as a original characters goes... that's going to be tricky. lol

I've updated the stage with a cleaner .def, changed bgvolume to it's max at 255, and fixed the floortension and camerafollow parameters. The stage is a lot taller than you think. It now, properly follows.
